| Tommie’s Traveling Quilt Shoppe Vista Quilts at the Adobe October 2003 |
For the fourth year, we have had the opportunity to participate in the quilt show sponsored by the El Camino Quilters and the San Diego County Parks Society held each October at the Historic Rancho Guajome Adobe in Vista, California
Throughout the three days of the annual event, guests can tour this beautiful setting, and see the many, many rooms showing off quilts to their best. From bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, the courtyard, and the old bathtub, all is a treat to see.
Guests can always find us in the same location: The narrow glass room at the back of the adobe, with our cutting table and check out area on the patio that overlooks the lush green lawn where we have our picnic lunch on Sunday afternoon.
We have selected a few pictures of our booth location. Our thanks to the members of the El Camino Quilters, especially Jane, and Jennifer, the Head Ranger at the Adobe for their assistance in making this another successful show for all.
