Tommie’s Traveling Quilt Shoppe
Useful Web Sites

Fabric SearchEver wish you had purchased just a little more of a fabric that now you just cannot locate anywhere? Perhaps this will help you. Or, maybe you have in your stash something that someone else is in need of.
Our Quilt Guild Most of the staff in our Traveling Quilt Shoppe are members of the Citrus Belt Quilters. Our meetings are held in Redlands, California. We have approximately 250 members who are very active in all areas of the guild. We are one of the few guilds that offers both evening and day meetings to meet the needs of our membership. We have several Community Service projects that benefit both children and adults. We are becoming 'famous' for the outstanding Quilt Show and Historic Home Tour we do each year, the second Saturday in May in partnership with the Redlands Area Historical Society. We invite you to check out our website for the latest 'news' about the Citrus Belt Quilters.
Carol's QuiltsCarol offers a great selection of handmade items. Be sure to check out her Thread Catchers, something everyone who uses a sewing machine will enjoy having. Helpful hint: A person who ties fishing flies could also use this to 'catch' all the bits and pieces of thread and feathers that are discarded. Ask me how I know!!!
Country in the WoodsVisit Gary and Linda by way of this great website and see all the beautiful items they have designed and created for wonderful ways to display your quilts and wallhangings. Want to organize your rulers and tools? They have just what you want.
Block Box CompanyLooking for a great way to keep your project neat and organized while you are working on it? Take a look at the Block Box by our friends Denise and Kevin. This handy box also works well for scrapbooking.
Lorna Joy To our neighbors north of the US. Take time to visit the website of one of my Internet friends who has a delightful store in her home in Golden, British Columbia. Lorna Joy is a wonderful fiber artist as you will see from the quilts that are shown on her website. Stop in often to see what is new in her store.
Garden Gate QuiltingFor those of you in the north east, another outstanding long arm quilting business. The owner, Lisa Teichmann and I met by way of an Internet group that we both belong to. She also carries a variety of patterns, books and quilting tools. For first time quilting customers, she offers a savings.
Graph PaperI found this several months ago, and was happy to add it to my computer. Perhaps there will be a time when you want to design something, and there will not be any graph paper in the house. Many types to choose from. Best of all........it is FREE!
