Tommie’s Traveling Quilt Shoppe Redlands, California May 2004
|
The day before Mothers' Day there is a new tradition in Redlands, California, the Historical Home Tour and Quilt Show. This is a joint effort of the Redlands Area Historical Society, and the guild I belong to, Citrus Belt Quilters. 2004 was the third year for this annual event. This is a one day show with so many things happening. I suggest you mark your calendar now for May 7, 2005 and plan on joining us. All vendors have one, 12 x 12 foot booth. From these pictures you can see we are able to get a lot of product in that small space. At the front table I enjoy talking with show guests, and introducing them personally to some of the great toys and tools for Quilters, Fiber Artists and Sewing Enthusiasts. Currently, I show them the Magic Triangle, and the Clover Needle threader. Sandy Steck, one of our favorite quilting friends never misses a show. She and I had fun posing for a quick snapshot, with one of our popular Red Hat scarves around our necks. As you can see by the pictures, we have a lot of natural light come in through the windows, so some of the pictures do not have the best light for picture taking.
